High-purity ferrite stainless steel "NSSC FW1"
Awarded the Nikkei Excellent Product and Grand Prize. Stainless steel with high machinability, reduced alloying, and aesthetic design.
The high corrosion-resistant, low-chromium high-purity ferritic stainless steel "NSSC FW1" has won the 2010 Nikkei Excellent Products and Services Award, as well as the Grand Prize of the Nikkei Industrial Newspaper Award. It is a stainless steel that excels in "workability," "corrosion resistance," "reduced alloying," and "design." Thanks to Sn addition technology, it possesses high corrosion resistance and, like other high-purity ferritic steels, has good weldability, as well as excellent corrosion resistance and workability. 【Features】 ■ Despite having 14% Cr, it exhibits corrosion resistance superior to that of 18% Cr steels due to Sn addition technology. ■ In salt spray tests under the same conditions, the degree of rusting is less than that of SUS430LX. ■ Thorough reduction of alloying (no Ni or Mo added, reduced Cr) avoids the impact of raw material prices. ■ The surface properties (resistance to ridging) after processing are high. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
